Children in Haiti desire to learn, but the opportunity to stay in school isn’t always guaranteed.

Through P4H Global’s Zoë Scholarship Fund, we’re helping remove the financial barriers that stand between students and their education.

Your support can make a difference through three scholarship tiers:

📚 250/year (Tuition): Covers a student’s tuition, books, and uniform, ensuring they can attend school.
✏️ $500/year (Mentorship): Includes tuition, books, uniforms, mentorship, and teacher training to strengthen both the student and their learning environment.
🍎 $750/year (Nutrition): Provides all of the above, plus nutritional support to help students learn and thrive.

For families facing financial hardship, this support can make all the difference!

Through a school diagnostic evaluation and classroom observations, our trainers gather baseline data to identify each school and teacher’s strengths, areas for growth, and specific needs. This assessment helps inform the training and ensures the support provided is relevant to the teachers and students being served.

Our approach is simple and intentional: connect, equip, empower. 🇭🇹

Despite the very real challenges Haiti faces, our work must continue. 💪🏿🇭🇹📚

Gang violence has made it unsafe for our team to travel to parts of the West and Centre departments. But the teachers there are still showing up for their students… so we must keep showing up for them.

So we’ve adapted. Through distance training, our team continues to equip and support educators in communities we cannot currently reach in person. Nothing replaces being together in a classroom, but distance can’t mean abandonment. 🫱🏿‍🫲🏾

This crisis may change how we reach teachers but it won’t end our commitment to them…or to the children counting on them. 🇭🇹

Did you know P4H’s teacher development doesn’t end when the training is over? 🇭🇹

Through our School Quality Assurance program, teachers receive ongoing coaching and classroom observations designed to help them put what they’ve learned into practice.

Educators also have opportunities to observe and learn from one another, reflecting on their teaching, sharing what works, and continuing to strengthen their practice together.

Transforming education takes more than a training. It takes continued learning, feedback, and support.

What do P4H educators take with them after training?

More than a certificate.

P4H provides educators with a Pedagogy Resource Book created specifically for Haitian teachers, with contributions from education experts in Haiti, the U.S., and Canada.

It’s designed to give educators practical resources they can continue using in their classrooms long after the training ends.

Because professional development should be something teachers can take with them and put into practice.
