Our team is hard at work today preparing for the two biggest events of our year.. the National Teacher of the Year Award Ceremony (PwoNA) and our annual educator conference (EPDC).

This group of men and women devote their lives to see Haiti rise through quality education. Whether it’s in a training with a school, one on one coaching with a teacher, celebrating educators across Haiti, or providing school tuition for students.. we are committed to this mission.

✨ Teacher training is only the beginning. ✨

After educators complete a P4H training, our work continues inside their classrooms.

Through the School Quality Assurance program, P4H coaches provide continued support as teachers begin putting what they’ve learned into practice.

That includes ongoing communication, coaching calls, classroom observations, and follow-up visits designed to see how new strategies are actually being applied.

Why does that matter?

Learning a new teaching strategy and implementing it with a classroom full of students are two very different things.

Coaching gives educators an opportunity to receive feedback, work through challenges, reflect on their teaching, and continue strengthening their practice over time.

These photos show an important part of the P4H model: we don’t simply train teachers and leave.

We continue walking alongside them as learning becomes practice— and practice becomes lasting change in the classroom. 🇭🇹📚
