Photo dump from last weekends amazing festival. Over 250 talented performers graced the Ameturo Stage at this year’s India Independence Day Festival. They took us from Gujrat to Tamil Nadu to Maharahtra and everywhere in between! Thank you to the hard working performers 👏 We hope to see you again next year!

That’s a wrap! ✅
This year’s festival was one for the books. We were honored to have Representative Chip LaMarca and Mayor Dean Trantalis open this year’s event. Over 200 performers, ranging from 7 years old to 68 years young, graced the stage today. The vendor Bazaar included traditional and modern clothing, jewelry, travel agencies, local government departments, and much more. The children loved the fun crafts in the kids zone. Everyone enjoyed the veg and non- veg options from Deccan Spice Pompano. We packed the auditorium full and had almost 1200 visitors at this years event.

Thank you Fort Lauderdale for celebrating with us! We will see you next year.

📣Stay tuned for next year’s save the date announcement!

The santoor is a traditional trapezoid-shaped hammered dulcimer. Dating back to ancient Mesopotamia, it features a hollow wooden soundboard strung with up to 100 strings struck with lightweight, curved wooden mallets.
Padma Shri Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya is a pioneering Indian classical musician and a world-renowned maestro of the santoor. Often hailed as a “master of 100 strings,” he is celebrated for revolutionizing the instrument’s design and technical boundaries to deepen its classical Indian sound.
We are honored to announce he is opening our cultural show at 1pm! Don’t be late!
