For decades, COG has invested in the children of SOS Children's Villages, providing more than $80,000 in grant support. This year's grant helps fund summer camp tuition and recreational opportunities, giving orphaned and abandoned children experiences they might not otherwise have. 💙 Creating brighter childhoods, one opportunity at a time.

Healing begins with hope. COG’s grant to Tomorrow’s Rainbow supports children and families navigating grief through equine-assisted experiences by funding therapeutic activity supplies, musical instruments, memory stones, Zen garden materials, and other hands-on healing resources.

COG has a special spot in our hearts for Mullings Academy, a locally owned, 4-star nonprofit early childhood care for children ages 2 months to 5 years.

This year’s grant award helps fund the academy’s food program, ensuring young children receive the nutritious meals they need to learn, grow, and thrive. 💙 Nourishing young minds and bright futures.

Long before we became Children’s Opportunity Group, the Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority was founded in 1949 with one simple mission: to help children in our community.
These scrapbook clippings from the early 1950s tell that story—raising funds for therapy equipment at the Easter Seal School, purchasing a television for children at the Naval Air Station Children’s Training Home, and already planning the next fundraiser.
More than 75 years later, our name has changed, but our purpose hasn’t. We’re still neighbors helping neighbors, investing in Broward’s children, and proving that community generosity can change lives—one child at a time. 💛

Every Mother’s Advocate walks alongside families in crisis with compassion and practical support. Vice President of Advancement gave a wonderful explanation of how EMA works with the community. COG’s grant helps stock the Outreach Closet with diapers, formula, clothing, hygiene items, car seats, cribs, strollers, and other essentials—providing comfort, safety, and hope for children and families when they need it most.
