General information
Each bird coming to stay overnight with us is required to have a negative Psittacosis test result within the last 12 months. Lovebirds are required to have additional testing for PBFD since they are known carriers of this disease. These results must be forwarded to us by the testing vet BEFORE scheduling a drop-off time for your bird. This protects your bird, as well as other birds being boarded.

Our Story
South East Florida Parrot and Bird Boarding was open to supplement the donations that our Rickie's Parrot Rescue and Sanctuary of South Florida brings in. It allows us to give the fosters what they need, but also allows you the security of knowing that your baby is with someone who knows birds and someone with many years of experience with all types of birds. Your bird will enjoy out of cage time as well as fresh fruit, veggies, chop and birdie bread. I do board special needs birds as well. South East Florida Parrot and Bird Boarding services the Palm Beach and Broward county areas. We can be reached at 561-235-9223. Please note that a psittacosis test is needed prior to boarding and at most boarding houses and facilities. This is to protect the birds already in that facility as well as yours. Psittacosis is one of the very few bird diseases that can be transmitted via sharing the same air. Most diseases are only transmitted via f***l matter and sharing of bowls/toys, etc. Once the test is done, it is good for one year.
Palm Beach Parrot Rescue also boards birds at their facility. All boarding houses are independently owned and operated.
