It’s hard to imagine running or even walking more than three miles when the heat index has topped 100 degrees nearly every day in recent weeks. But at 7:00 a.m. on October 11, 2025, the weather in Hollywood was clear and a comfortable 73 degrees. If you were at the Pursuit of Honor, Courage, and Commitment 5K, last year you’ll remember just how beautiful an October sunrise on the beach can be.
