Hello, we are Broadview Park Civic Association. We are a volunteer-read organization commited to strengthening our neighborhood and improving the quality of life in Broadview Park, Florida. We host bi-monthly meetings to keep residents informed, gather feedback and work together on local issues. We also organized events, clean-ups and youth volunteer opportunities, and seasonal drives to bring our

community closer. A little history of Broadview Park:

In November, 1955, Jan and Jack Washburn moved into a brand new development of 1200 homes called Broadview Park. Because they were swimming instructors, they thought it would be great to have a community swimming pool. They rallied their new neighbors to the cause. They were advised to form a civic association and incorporate with the state. In May, 1956, the association met and formally incorporated as a non-profit organization. Instead of starting with a pool, they were advised to build a community building. At that first meeting they also appointed a committee to form a volunteer fire department and a committee to develop teen activities and athletic opportunities. Since then the Broadview Park Civic Association has taken on many projects over the years in support of its community, Founded by, and still worked by its residents the Broadview Park Civic Association continues to improve the homes, families and lives of those living here. We are always accepting new board members and all of those who reside in our neighborhoods are welcome at every meeting, whether you're a homeowner or renter, a long time resident or new to the area. We invite you to get involved and help us keep Broadview Park a safe, connected and vibrant place to live! PLEASE NOTE: The Civic Association is NOT a Homeowner’s Association. We are volunteers working to improve our neighborhood; we have no legal authority to force residents to comply with our requests.

If you have questions, updates, or concerns regarding the ongoing neighborhood drainage project, this is your chance to bring them forward and stay informed.

Como un rápido recordatorio, la próxima recolección de basura pesada y de gran tamaño está programada para la próxima semana:

Lado Oeste (West Side): Viernes, 31 de julio
Por favor, asegúrense de sacar sus artículos de gran tamaño de acuerdo con las normas del condado antes de su día de recolección asignado.

🚛 Upcoming Bulk Trash Collection
As a quick reminder, the next bulk trash pickup is scheduled for next week:
East Side: Thursday, July 30th
West Side: Friday, July 31st
Please make sure to have your bulk items set out according to county guidelines prior to your designated collection day.

🚛 ¡Recordatorios de basura acumulada y del 4 de julio en Broadview Park! 🎆
¡Mantengamos nuestro vecindario hermoso y seguro durante el fin de semana festivo!
🚛 Horario de recolección de basura acumulada (Bulk Trash):
Lado Este (East Side): Jueves 2 de julio
Lado Oeste (West Side): Viernes 3 de julio
(Por favor, coloque sus artículos en la acera no antes de la noche anterior y mantenga las pilas de basura alejadas de los buzones e hidrantes).
🎆 Seguridad para el 4 de julio (¡Este sábado!):
Fuegos artificiales: Enciéndalos únicamente en áreas al aire libre que estén abiertas y despejadas.
Limpieza: Sumerja los fuegos artificiales usados en agua durante la noche antes de tirarlos a la basura para evitar incendios.
