Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale has served our community since 1922. We meet on Wednesdays at noon at Cafe Vico in Fort Lauderdale.

The last Wednesday of each month there is no meeting but a Happy Hour replaces it. Check here for location as it changes Meeting Time:

Fellowship, fun and fundraising!

Our September Sip & Paint Social brought members and friends of the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale together for a creative evening supporting Rotary Connection—an initiative of our club helping people experiencing homelessness access critical services and reconnect with family.

A great night of laughter, creativity and friendship—all while raising funds for an important local cause.

Rotary is helping make polio history.

For more than 35 years, Rotary members around the world have worked to protect children from polio through vaccinations, advocacy, fundraising, and partnerships.

Service above self isn't just a motto—it's a lifelong commitment.

Our new series, Rotary Legacy Spotlight, shines a light on those Rotarians who have each achieved more than 20 years of service to our club and community.

For October those members are:

Bobby Rodriguez 24 years
Lisa Scott Founds 25 years
Les Campbell 27 years
Ray Williams 34 years

Their passion, leadership, and unwavering dedication have helped make a lasting impact on countless lives. Thank you for your decades of service and for inspiring future generations of Rotarians.

Did you know that since August of last year, Rotary Connection has helped to get over 280 homeless people off the streets of Fort Lauderdale and into recovery or on their way home? And that number continues to go up every day!

Rotarian and Co-founder of the Rotary Connection, Garry Smyth talks about the three things the bus is doing to make a difference.

Here are some facts:
🚌Rotary Connection helps our unhoused neighbors.
🚌It improves the quality of life in our community
🚌We average one reunification a day and the word is spreading
🚌The cost to operate this bus is $22,000 a month (based on average fuel costs)

If you aren't aware, Rotary Connection is a free, scheduled transportation and resource navigation program that connects people experiencing homelessness with partner agencies and
essential services they need to rebuild their lives. The key is the dedicated resource navigator on board with immediate help.
