José Genaro Ponce Ulloa, our agricultural coordinator, can turn a workday on the farm into a fun day!
Thanks to his inspiration and guidance the children are learning that through their own work they can help provide for their home. Not only are there plenty of sweet watermelons to keep the children refreshed during this hot summer, but there are enough to sell, helping to raise funds for the children’s home Fundacion AHLE. Our Saturday morning technical workshops are going strong at Fundacion AHLE where in collaboration with CENTRO TÉCNICO HONDUREÑO ALEMÁN we currently offer specializations in Mechanics and Welding, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Every new skill is another step toward a successful future. Everything we do is driven by a commitment to creating brighter futures for the youth of Honduras. AN ENGINEER!! Congratulations Mario! AJC Children’s foundation is so proud of your achievement, Our Higher Education Program is shining! ✨We are so grateful to Mario‘s sponsor Juan Carlos who always believed in him, encouraged and financially supported his studies.

This is our FIFTH YEAR sponsoring a weekend of spay and neutering for pets and strays in the community, in collaboration with the veterinary students of UNAG – Universidad Nacional de Agricultura y Ganadería.
It was wonderful to have some of our foundation children participate in the intake process and have the opportunity to see veterinary students in action and their compassion for animals. An incredible learning experience. We are truly honored by our continued partnership with UNAG. ❤️

We are so proud that our young people are part of the First Muralism Festival "Art and Color" in San Francisco de Yojoa, contributing their creativity, dedication, and passion in the creation of the murals that today beautify the municipality. 🖌️💚

Art is a tool for transformation, a way to express ideas, strengthen the identity of their community, and inspire the new generations.

We will continue to support and motivate our young people to develop their talent and continue growing, with the hope that one day their art will transcend borders.🌎🇭🇳

We congratulate Eduin, Jasson, Francisco and Jimmy for being part of this great project.

Wonderful to see how the Festival de Muralismo Arte y Color (Mural Festival) is beautifying the municipality of San Francisco de Yojoa through art. Congratulations to our talented young artists of Fundacion AHLE, Jasson, Jimmy, Francisco, and Eduin.
We are incredibly proud of their participation and of their beautiful mural depicting Lake Yojoa, the largest natural lake in Honduras and one of the municipality's greatest natural treasures. Well done! ajccf.org

Nice harvest of bananas! There will be plenty for those frozen banana treats the kids love on these hot summer days!
Our organic garden, fruit trees, and agricultural farm help provide fresh, healthy food while reducing the cost of feeding the children in our home allowing more of every donation to go toward their care, education, and future. Every harvest helps us stretch donations even further. We are so grateful for everyone who supports this mission and helps us nurture both the land and the children who call Fundacion AHLE home.

The 2026 World Cup series has ended and reminds us that the greatest victories are not always about winning. ⚽️
Being a great athlete doesn't automatically make someone a great person. True champions show respect, humility, resilience, and kindness, whether they're celebrating a win or facing a loss.
Thank you Rodri Castro for leading such a meaningful workshop with our boys' soccer team on the values of sport and the importance of emotional control, both in victory and in defeat. These are lessons that extend far beyond the field and help shape confident, respectful, and compassionate young people.
