When you become a therapy team with us, you're family. We celebrate certifications and milestones, but we also stand beside our teams through retirement, life changes, and the loss of beloved therapy dogs.

Allison and Melvin touched countless lives through their therapy visits. After Melvin recently crossed the rainbow bridge, Allison chose to continue his legacy and is now a certified therapy dog team with Melvin's sister, Olivia. Their journey is a beautiful reminder that the impact of a therapy dog lives on through the people and communities they inspire.

We are so grateful for teams who continue volunteering through life's changes because their dedication makes a lasting difference in our community. 💙

That's our kind of afternoon! We loved partnering with the and the McDonald House to create a day filled with comfort, fun, and plenty of smiles. 🤗

While our therapy dogs provided tail wags and furry friendship, Dr. Brandt Foundation added so many thoughtful touches, including a talented violinist, a cookie decorating station, and gift bags filled with self-care treats.

We're especially grateful for the Dr. Brandt Foundation's ongoing support of our therapy dog programming for mental health. Through partnerships like this, they're helping expand access to experiences that promote connection, comfort, and mental wellness throughout our community.

Last week, our C.A.T. teams had the privilege of visiting patients and staff at Jon and Helaine Ayers Rehabilitation Clinic at Holy Cross!

Jackson, Sadie, Venus, Cora, and Theo brought plenty of smiles and comfort as they spent time with those on their rehabilitation journey. These special visits provide moments of encouragement, connection, and joy, reminding everyone that healing is about more than physical recovery.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Jon and Helaine Ayers Rehabilitation Clinic for welcoming our therapy dogs and volunteers. We are grateful for every opportunity to share the healing power of the human-animal bond.

A big congratulations to Murray, who achieved an incredible milestone last week by becoming a certified therapy dog just four days after celebrating his first birthday!

Murray comes from a family of therapy dog superstars. His siblings, Kody and Devon, are already certified therapy dogs with Canine Assisted Therapy, and now their proud owner, Fran, has not one, not two, but THREE certified therapy dogs! What an amazing accomplishment and testament to the dedication, training, and love that Fran has invested in each of them.

As if earning his certification wasn't exciting enough, Murray wasted no time getting to work! The very next day, he joined his friends Sadie and Cody at The Palace at Weston for his very first therapy dog visit! From bringing smiles to sharing comfort and companionship, Murray stepped right into his new role and made a wonderful first impression!
