🍂🙏🏽 GFTL October Verse & Thought of the Month 💙💗

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11

✨ Trust His timing. Stand firm in faith. Believe in His promises! Even when life’s seasons bring uncertainty, remember that God is always working behind the scenes. What may seem delayed is not denied, and what feels difficult today can become a testimony of His faithfulness tomorrow. Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God is making everything beautiful in His perfect time! 🙌🏽💙

🙏🏽 Your GFTL Chaplains Are Praying for You!

💙 Teen Chaplain Nathan Rawls
💗 Chapter Chaplain Demetria Rawls

May God strengthen your faith, renew your hope, and remind you that you are never walking alone. Keep trusting Him. His plans are greater, His timing is perfect, and His promises remain true! 🙏🏽✨

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. stands in solidarity with the courageous women and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
Today and every day, we honor our resilient survivors, remember those we’ve lost, encourage those still fighting, and walk alongside the families who support them every step of the way.
We proudly paint our community pink in hope, strength, and love. 🎀💗

🔥🏀💗 Pops & Jacks Bring the HEAT for a Purpose!

Our Greater for Lauderdale Pops and Jacks had an unforgettable experience at the Miami HEAT’s Red, White & Pink Night. This is more than a game, it honors and celebrates survivors and those impacted by breast cancer.

From the energy on the court to the powerful message of strength, courage, and community, our GFTL Pops & Jacks are showing up with purpose! Great memories for an even Greater cause.🏀🔥💗

💙💗 Leading, Learning & Lifting as She Climbs! 💗💙

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter is proud to celebrate Past Teen President Lauren Welmaker. Legacy Lauren, a sophomore Acting major at Howard University, is the daughter of Associate Jewel Joy Oglesby and Ryan Welmaker. She continues to make her mark through leadership and service!

Lauren serves on the Executive Board of My Sister’s Keeper (MSK), where she is responsible for Education & Awareness. As a member of MSK’s inaugural 2025 cohort of leaders, she is helping to educate, empower, and create meaningful awareness around issues impacting young women.

From leading as Teen President to continuing her commitment to leadership and service on her college campus, Lauren continues to make us proud. We can’t wait to see all that is ahead for this remarkable young leader! ✨

🏫Back to the Basics!👩🏽‍🎓

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter traveled to 📍Atlanta for an inspiring weekend at the Southeastern Regional Workday on the campus of Jack and Jill University. We brought our school spirit and came ready to ReFresh, ReFocus, and ReIgnite!

Through meaningful workshops, opportunities to strengthen our impact, and fellowship with Mothers from across the region, we were reminded of the power behind the work we do and, most importantly, our WHY.💖💙
