Yesterday John and I went to Broward Supervisor of elections office to drop off some ballots. While logging in the ballots a young lady who happened to be African American was sitting in a chair filling out her vote by mail ballot. What happened next really was disturbing to me and it bother me so much I had to post it.

voter: Excuse me ma'am I made a mistake on my ballot
clerk : No response
voter: Ma'am I made a mistake. I bubbled the wrong one what do I do.
clerk: No response.
voter: Do I scratch out the wrong answer and bubble the right one, do you have whiteout that I use.
clerk: I can't tell you what to do.
Me: to the voter, " Ask her for a new ballot.
Me: to the clerk. " She is not asking you to tell her who to vote for she is asking to help fix problem that you do know the answer to.
Vote: to me. What to I do
Me: They have to issue you a new ballot. You have the right to a new ballot.
clerk: you can request another vote by mail ballot or take the ballot you have to any polling location and they will print you a new ballot and you can vote at that time.

Now I know this was lengthy but this is one example of how an inexperienced voter would walk away without exercising her right to vote because of the ignorance of the people we pay to service us.

Instead of two physical meetings a month, we will have one physical meeting on 1st Tuesday of month, and a conference call on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, both are MANDATORY without reasonable absence. Information will be emailed out or sent through remind.

- If you don’t participate in a certain amount of community activities, you can be excluded from anything that we, as a chapter have authority over.

- Kenderia received a trophy at BWR for being an Emerging Empowerment Leader, as well as she is being induced into the South Plantation High School Chapter of National Honor Society on Wednesday April 6, 2016

Gentlewarriors as your leaders Mr. Bailey and Ms. Rutherford we would like for all of you to log on to the Fl. Senate session and follow closely the blatant disrespect and disenfranchisement of our people. They just past for 3rd reading SB 1722 HB 1411 a bill that will eliminate funding to 6 plan parenthood clinics because they perform elective abortions. Whether you agree with abortions or not if the federal government says a woman has the right to choose. Who is the Fl Government to say that our tax dollars can't fund it. We must stop the Republicans from dictating how Florida is govern. Please it is ever so important that we encourage our people to go to the polls and VOTE. Let your voices heard the ballot box.

The brats of the house decided that if they cannot get their wishes it's best to sine and die and end their session. This now force the other brat governor Scott to call a special session. Basically the Senate is in session based on formality .
