✨ Mamma Mia, oh what a night…! 🪩🇸🇪🇫🇮🇬🇷

What an unforgettable evening of ABBA, friendship, fabulous food, and international spirit at Finland House! ✨

SACC Florida and the American Finnish Tourist Club were thrilled to bring our Swedish and Finnish communities together for an evening filled with music, dancing, laughter, and plenty of Dancing Queens and Kings 💃🕺

From the moment the music started, the energy was simply fabulous — and the evening took an especially spirited turn when the Zorba dance line came together, bringing a wonderful touch of Greek tradition and opa! to our Scandinavian celebration. 🇬🇷💃🕺 It was a beautiful reminder that great music, good food, and dancing truly bring everyone together!

The Greek spirit continued with an incredible homemade feast prepared by the Rileys and Karlssons. Guests enjoyed tzatziki, hummus, red pepper feta dip, pita, spanakopita, lamb gyros, Greek salad, chicken souvlaki, and herb potatoes. 🇬🇷✨

And what would a Swedish /Finnish celebration be without a spectacular dessert table? 🍰 The table was filled with delicious baklava, macaroons, Merci chocolates, cookies, and Swedish candy - generously donated by GoYummy Candy. 🍬🇸🇪

A very special thank you to Helena, Mika, and Skyler for their fantastic live music performance and for giving us the perfect soundtrack to our evening. 🎶✨

We are equally grateful to Jyrki and his wonderful team including Minna, Jaana, Mikko and Sari at Finland House, our fabulous SACC Florida interns .karyd and and Viktoria, Susan, Rob, and Anders for their tremendous help, dedication, and attention to detail in making this evening so memorable.

And, of course, thank you to each and every one of you who came dressed as ABBA or in disco 🪩 outfits to dance, sang along, enjoyed the food, filled the dance floor, and made the evening so special. ❤️

This is what our SACC Florida community is all about — bringing people together, celebrating friendship and culture, and creating wonderful memories along the way.

Until we meet again… 🥂✨

So long, see you honey!
💙💛🇸🇪 🇫🇮 🇬🇷 🪩✨
