📣NEW THIS YEAR: Annual Charitable Fund Statements Provided Online 📣

👉Starting Sept. 8, Community Foundation of Broward Fundholders can get their annual charitable fund statements using the donor portal on our website.

👉Here’s how it works:
1. Visit the Community Foundation website at www.cfbroward.org
2. Under the “Log in” prompt at the top of our website, select “Fundholders.”
3. Enter your Username and Password and select “Login” to enter the Donor Portal. (Contact us if you don’t have a username and password.)
4. In the menu, select “Fund Statements and Documents.” Scroll to your Annual Charitable Fund Statement and select “View.”

👉We Are Ready to Help:
If you don’t have a username or password, need assistance locating your statement in the donor portal or have any other questions, please call 954-761-9503 and ask for a Fund Representative. You can also email the Community Foundation at [email protected] and we will have one of our Fund Representatives get in touch with you.

💜📣Endowment Matching Grants Still Available! 💜📣Nonprofits can still apply to the Community Foundation of Broward for matching grants to launch new endowments. Thanks to a collaboration with The Jim Moran Foundation, these new matching grants are helping nonprofits grow endowments that ensure support for their charitable missions for generations to come.
👉 As a part of The Jim Moran Foundation's 25th Anniversary, a special $1 million grant was awarded for The Jim Moran Foundation Endowment Partners Matching Fund at the Community Foundation to match 50 percent of the amount of new Nonprofit Endowment Funds that organizations establish at the Community Foundation.
👉By creating a Nonprofit Endowment Fund, nonprofits establish sustainable, permanent support for their work in our community.
👉More than a dozen local nonprofits have already launched new endowments through this exciting collaboration, and WE STILL HAVE MORE THAN $40,000 IN MATCHING SUPPORT AVAILABLE. Visit our website at cfbroward.org to learn more, or contact us at [email protected] or 954-761-9503.

For nearly five years, Cathy’s leadership and drive have established the “Nonprofit Center” as a go-to resource for helping nonprofits sustain and grow their important missions. The Nonprofit Center’s growing catalogue of training sessions, insightful convenings, easy-to-use online resources and other helpful tools are fueling opportunities for local organizations to learn, collaborate and excel. With endowed support and a new strategic plan, the Nonprofit Center that Cathy helped launch will continue to evolve, bolstering Broward’s nonprofit community for years to come. Good luck, Cathy!

WPLG Local 10 News recently featured the inspiring “Lead with Love” public arts initiative – a Community Foundation of Broward collaboration with Business for the Arts of Broward and visionary artist Cey Adams to create nine love-themed murals that foster inspiration, unity and leadership in communities across Broward County. It’s great to see how the murals are spreading the love!

Drivers across Broward County may have noticed colorful new murals brightening city streets. Behind the artwork is Cey Adams, the legendary graphic designer whose work helped define the look of hip-hop before he turned his talents to large-scale public art.

💜Congratulations to the 2026 Graduates of the Emerging Leader Fellowship!👏Over the past seven months, this dedicated group of leaders from small and emerging nonprofits participated in a dynamic training opportunity provided by the Community Foundation of Broward’s Broward Center for Nonprofit Excellence.

👉From governance and financial management to fundraising, organizational culture, resilience and change management, participants gained practical tools to lead with greater confidence and impact. They also gained a supportive network of peers who understand the unique opportunities and challenges of nonprofit leadership.

👉Our graduates have strengthened their leadership, expanded their knowledge and built skills that will benefit the organizations and communities they serve.
