🎶 More Than Music
When a young person joins Florida Singing Sons, they’re learning much more than how to sing.
They’re learning to listen, focus, follow direction, read and interpret music, memorize, persevere, and work as a team. They’re learning to take responsibility, lead, support one another, and find confidence in their own voice.
And they’re finding a place to belong.
For our singers, choir provides experiences, friendships, challenges, travel, and opportunities that can stay with them for life. But making those opportunities possible takes support.
With few opportunities for choir and choral music in our schools, organizations like Florida Singing Sons are more important than ever. And right now, we need your help.
For the 2026–27 season, Florida Singing Sons again did not receive state arts funding, despite applying and qualifying. At the same time, arts organizations across our community—including Florida Singing Sons—have faced significant reductions in county funding.
That means we need our community to help fill the gap.
