During our Software Department meeting, students learned the fundamentals of Java, explored our control systems, and examined how those systems affect robot performance. Think you have what it takes to drive an FRC robot? Students put their skills to the test as they navigated the field and scored with our 2026 competition robot, “REWIND.”

At our Electrical Department meeting, students took a deep dive into the robot’s electrical systems. Students explored motors, encoders, power distribution hubs, wire management, and best practices.

The SigmaC@T Robotics Team kicked off the year with two meetings. Students explored several STEAM-based departments, were introduced to our shop’s power tools, and tuned up “REWIND,” our 2026 competition robot. We look forward to welcoming these students to the team!

Today we had the opportunity to tour the U.S. Army’s medical truck. This interactive exhibit is to inform students of the career options available within the armed forces. Thankfully everyone revived their patient on the chest compression simulator!

The SigmaC@T Robotics Team showed up and showed OUT at the 2026 Tallahassee Regional. Ending qualification matches ranked 7th with a 10-5-0 record, we battled our way through playoffs as the 1st pick of Alliance 2 alongside Team 4065 Nerds of Prey and Team 21 ComBBAT
finishing as Regional Finalists after an intense run to the finals.
We are so proud of the grit and growth of our team.�Here’s a teaser for our recap video. Stay tuned.
