There is a dire need in Florida as well as nationwide for interscholastic and recreational referees. Our initial plan is to raise funds for a veteran - first responder scholarship fund to defray the cost of becoming a certified Florida High School Athletic Association referee. Vets As Refs is a program of the Project Courage Foundation (PCF).

PCF is a Florida based 501c3, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Your tax deductible donation will finance a Veteran and/or a 1st Responder through the certification program/

The basic cost to become certified is approximately $300+/- per sport. Some sports, like baseball and softball, require more equipment.
