A life was saved because Narcan was available when it mattered most. 💙

Last week, a woman experienced an overdose in the bathroom of a restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

Fortunately, the restaurant staff had access to Narcan that South Florida Opioid Alliance had previously provided after training their team on how to recognize and respond to an overdose.

They acted immediately, administered Narcan, called 911, and she survived.

This is exactly why SFOA distributes free Narcan throughout our community. Every training, every overdose response kit, and every volunteer who helps place these boxes has the potential to save a life.

You never know when the Narcan you helped deliver could become someone’s second chance.
