These beautiful pumpkin arrangements came from Master Florist MᴀsᴛᴇʀFʟᴏʀɪsᴛ﹠Eᴠᴇɴᴛ Sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟɪsᴛ who joined us for a live demo on Instagram showing how to create the perfect fall centerpiece for family gatherings. We loved seeing them go to these wonderful women from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital who won them in a raffle.

Today, we pause. Twenty-five years ago, September 11, 2001 became a day etched into the heart of this nation — a day of profound loss, and a day we carry with us every year since.

At That Flower Feeling, we believe flowers hold what words often cannot: memory, grief, love, and remembrance. That’s why today we want to honor a tradition that captures this perfectly — the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s Birthday Rose program

Since 2013, museum staff have placed a single white rose at the name of every victim inscribed on the Memorial — 2,983 lives lost in 2001 and 1993 — on what would have been their birthday. Every day, without exception, a white rose is laid at a name on those bronze parapets. A quiet promise, kept daily: you are not forgotten.

Today, we honor the victims. We honor the survivors, the first responders, and the families who have carried this loss for 25 years. And we honor organizations like the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, who ensure that remembrance never fades.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We always will. 🕊️
