Knowledge can be life-changing.
At our 5th Annual Health Fair, clients had the opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals, receive screenings, access valuable resources, and learn more about their health.
For Natasha, the experience provided important information about managing her chronic health conditions and taking the next steps on her wellness journey.
Today, Natasha is sharing her story and the impact the Health Fair had on her life. Her experience is a powerful reminder that when we remove barriers to care and bring services directly to those who need them most, we create opportunities for healthier futures.

Service Opens Eyes, Compassion Changes Lives.
Thank you to the teams from Whole Foods Market North Miami, Midtown, and Downtown Miami for spending the day volunteering at our Fort Lauderdale Center!
Their teams made a meaningful impact by serving lunch, organizing our clothing room, and taking a tour to learn more about Broward Partnership’s mission and programs.
We also want to share a special moment from the day: one of the team members shared that he was especially grateful for the opportunity to volunteer because it opened his eyes and deepened his compassion for individuals experiencing homelessness, many of whom he now recognizes as the same people he may encounter at their stores. He reflected that anyone can be just one health crisis or unexpected tragedy away from experiencing homelessness themselves. His words were a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy and community connection.
We are grateful for Whole Foods Market's continued commitment to community engagement and for partnering with us to support individuals experiencing homelessness on their journey toward stability and self sufficiency.
If your company has a corporate volunteer program, we would love to partner with you. Please reach out to Isabella at [email protected] or call 954-779-3990 ext. 2203 to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

When community partners come together with a shared commitment to care, the impact reaches far beyond a single day.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the healthcare providers, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and community organizations that helped make our 5th Annual Health Fair an extraordinary success. The individuals and families we serve had access to vital health screenings, preventative care resources, health education, and connections to healthcare services and support that can improve their lives and strengthen our community.

We would also like to recognize Samantha Murray and Edna Harrist, our Directors of Clinic & Intake, whose vision, leadership, and unwavering dedication were instrumental in bringing this event to life. Their commitment to expanding access to care and creating pathways to better health helped transform an important event into a meaningful community impact.

The Health Fair is a powerful reminder that lasting change happens when organizations, healthcare professionals, and community leaders work together to remove barriers, promote wellness, and ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Thank you for standing with us in this mission and for helping build a healthier, stronger Broward County.

From nearly empty shelves to pallets filled with breakfast options, this is the power of community support.
Thanks to their incredible annual cereal drive, Cleveland Clinic Florida has helped ensure that the individuals and families we serve will start their days with a nutritious breakfast.
We are deeply grateful for their continued generosity and partnership. Year after year, their team shows up in a meaningful way, helping us provide essential meals and support to those experiencing homelessness.
This generous donation will be shared between both of our centers, extending its impact to even more individuals and families across our community.
Want to help meet our most urgent needs? Contact Isabella Preble at [email protected] or call 954-779-3990 ext. 2203 to learn how you can make a difference.

"It takes a community."
We are grateful to Dr. Motii and Oceana Community Health for sharing their experience at our 5th Annual Health Fair and in supporting the health, stability, and well-being of the people we serve. Events like our Health Fair are only possible because of the incredible healthcare providers, vendors, and community partners who come together with a shared commitment to prevention, education, and accessible care. From health screenings and vaccinations to wellness resources and referrals, these services connect our clients to the healthcare services and support they need to achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency. Thank you to Dr. Motii for lending his voice to this important conversation and to all of our partners who helped make this year's Health Fair such a meaningful success. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger community, one connection at a time.

Some of the best conversations don’t happen over coffee.
They happen while serving meals. While sorting donations. While showing up for someone who needs it.
That’s why we’re inviting you to bring a friend (over the age of 16) with you to volunteer shifts.
Because service hits differently when you experience it together.
Come join us to help for our neighbors in need! We're grateful for volunteers who help us every day with our meal services. Check out opportunities to volunteer individually or as a group of up to four. To learn more email Isabella at [email protected] or call 954-779-3990 EXT 2203
