Free Ride is a lifestyle non-profit focused on individuals that
want to expand their world.

• “Lifestyle non-profit” meaning we want to help people by enhancing,
adding to or supporting people on the move – however that “on-the move” is defined.

• We believe the gift of free transportation can increase confidence and
independence while strengthening people and their ties with families,
friends and community.

• Whether bikes, bus passes, skateboards or any other mode of
transportation, mobility provides a lifestyle that helps us all move
towards new opportunities and connections.

Two brothers. One scooter. A whole lot of freedom.

Meet Miguel.

Miguel lives in the Philippines with his family and is now one of our Freeriders. He shares his new scooter with his brother so they both have the freedom to move through their community with greater independence — something that brings them so much joy.

At Freeride, every mobility device we donate represents more than transportation. It represents freedom, connection, and the ability to experience the world more fully.

Miguel is one of many Freeriders whose lives are expanding through mobility.

Help us reach the next one.

This month’s FR5 reminded us why this community means so much. 💛

We were incredibly touched by the nominations that came in during the 24 hours. Every story, every message, every person nominated by someone who cares about them. That’s what FR5 is really about.

To our Angel Riders: thank you for showing up for your communities, your friends, your neighbors, and even strangers. You are truly the backbone of Freeride. Because of you, we’re able to reach people who truly need mobility.

To everyone who submitted a nomination that wasn’t selected this month: please don’t stop nominating. We read every single story, and we hope you’ll come back next month and continue helping us keep the world moving. 🚲✨

We’re heading into our third month of putting bikes into the hands of people who need them most through our FR5 monthly bike initiative!
For someone in your community, a bike can mean getting to work, getting to school, or simply having a way to show up. A bike is more than just transportation — it’s independence, connection, and a chance to move forward.
This is powered by people.Our Angel Riders take the time to see someone who needs support and nominate them and together, we turn that into something real.
🗓 Nominations openMay 3rd at 12:00 AM EST⏳ for 24 hours
Start thinking about who you might nominate.
And if you want to be part of making these rides possible, donations directly support each bike we give.

Hi Freeriders, meet Anthony! We met through our sponsorship of New Hope Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The church sets up every weekend to minister to over 150 homeless people. We have partnered with New Hope to sponsor mobility items like bikes, walkers and wheelchairs.

On Sundays we distributes Adult Care Kits with necessities such as waterproof blankets, face towels, wipes, snacks, first aid kits and more all in a drawstring bag.

Pastor David recommended Anthony due to his positivity and hard work. We were able to gift Anthony a brand new bike.

Anthony IS extremely kind and shared with us his story and how much this bike would positively impact his quality of life by allowing him to go to his doctor appointments 🦋
If Anthony’s story moved you, you can help us reach the next person who needs a way forward.
Be an Angel Rider—on the 3rd of every month you get a chance to nominate someone for a free bike or you can support the next bike giveaway by donating through the link in our bio. 🚲🤍

We had a great time being a part of The Loops Spring Fling event! It was a beautiful day celebrating community, connection, and mobility 💛🚲
We raffled off two bikes to members of our community. Two bikes, two new opportunities for freedom, independence, and connection.

Events like this remind us how powerful mobility can be. Every bike represents opportunity, confidence, and a new way forward.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special. We’re so grateful for this community and excited for what’s ahead.

🚲 FR5 is open for nominations! 🚲
The FREERIDE community is back to help people get moving. After our big launch last month, we are so excited to keep this going for April!

A bike is more than just a gift. It’s a way to reach new jobs, see more of the world, and feel free. We want to give that freedom to someone who really needs it.

How you can help (Be an “Angel Rider”):

🚲 NOMINATE: Do you know someone who is struggling right now? Maybe they are having a hard time with money or just need a win. You can nominate them to receive a brand-new bike! (Remember: You can only nominate others, not yourself).

⏰ 24 HOURS ONLY: The nomination window is open NOW! You only have 24 hours to submit your story. Click the link in our bio to fill out the quick form.

🌍 On April 5th, we will announce the winners and start their new journey!

Want to help even more? We are now powered by you! If you want to help us buy the next bike, you can donate at the link in our bio.

This isn’t just about wheels. It’s about dignity. It’s about the road ahead. Let’s ride together!

🚲✨ Did you know students who bike to school start their day with more energy, better focus, and a happier mood? Plus it’s a sustainable choice that keeps our communities moving forward! 🌎💛

At Freeride, we believe mobility = freedom. That’s why we started our FR5 bike initiative. FreeRide on the 5th is our year-round commitment to giving brand-new bikes to people in financial, emotional, or social need of movement.
A bike can mean:
* Getting to school
* Getting to work
* Reconnecting with community
* Healing through movement

You can’t nominate yourself — but you can nominate someone whose world would expand with a bike.
Because freedom, joy, and independence through mobility shouldn’t be a privilege.
🔔 Make sure to turn on your post notifications! 💛 Donate through the link in our bio to put more FR5 bikes in motion.

Since 2023, Freeride has donated nearly 500 mobility devices to children around the world, helping them experience something many of us take for granted — the freedom to move, explore, and play.

For a child, mobility can mean independence, confidence, and connection with their community.

This year marks Freeride’s official launch, and our mission is to reach even more children whose lives could change with access to mobility.

With your support, we can continue expanding freedom, joy, and independence for children everywhere.

If you'd like to help make that possible, please consider donating through the link in our bio.
