Honoring Service: A Legacy of Courage and Community | Tribute!

My great grandfather, Simon P. Hays, embodied the true spirit of service that defines the United States Marine Corps. A World War One Veteran who returned from battle to become a pillar of the Conejo Valley CA community, he exemplified what it means to serve both in war and in peace.

As a business owner, Rancher, and man of faith, Simon demonstrated that service doesn't end when you take off the uniform. He built a legacy of dedication, showing our family - and our community - the profound meaning of commitment to something greater than oneself.

His inspiration has been a guiding light, instilling in me a passion for the veteran-first movement and a deep respect for those who put their lives on the line for our constitutional republic.

To all who continue to embody the spirit of Semper Fi, I say thank you.

As we celebrate the Marine Corps' birthday and America's 250th year, we remember the heroes who have shaped our nation - ordinary men and extraordinary patriots like my great grandfather.

God bless the Marines, and God bless America.
