Join us for a Birding Workshop on June 13!
Come learn about birds!
Did you know... we have over 30 bird species around our venue and trails during the spring and summer?
On Saturday, June 13 two "birders" will teach us about our feathered friends and help us identify them by sound and sight.
We will begin our indoor session in the Lodge at 8:00 AM, then head outside at 8:30. This is a rain-or-shine event, so come prepared 🙂
We will be using a fun birding app called, Merlin, from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. If you have a chance, download the app ahead of time.

There is no charge for this event, but we need a headcount, so please register by emailing Laura Audibert at [email protected].
Identify Bird Songs and Calls Sound ID listens to the birds around you and shows real-time suggestions for who’s singing. Compare your recording to the songs and calls in Merlin to confirm what you heard. Sound ID works completely offline, so you can identify birds you hear no matter where you ar
