Artwork from Etna Elementary students showcasing the different components of a salmonid's habitat: food, shelter, water, and space (space is pretty hard to draw but the kids made a great attempt).

This activity is part of our Fish in the Classroom program, which involves hatching and raising trout eggs over the course of six weeks before releasing them into the wild as fry. Stay tuned for more pictures as the eggs hatch!
