This week I gave a couple of tours of the General Robert W. Cone, NTC and 11th ACR Heritage Center to Soldiers from the French Army. They presented me with a Commanders Coin from the French Army in the United States. I would just like to say "Merci beaucoup" and it was a pleasure meeting all of you.

The 9/11 Memorial Display in the General Robert W. Cone NTC & 11th ACR Heritage Center. The new display features three pieces of steel from the wreckage of the World Trade Center, the US Flag that flew over Firestation #1 in Washington, DC on 9/11 and a glass jar with soil from the impact site of Flight 93. Also in the container is a small piece of the flight control system from Flight 93.

Today marks 19 years since the 911 terrorist attacks. Fort Irwin honored the fallen with an emergency responders procession.
