On 12 March 2025, the AGCRA Fort Huachuca Thunder Mountain Chapter had the privilege of hosting AGCRA National President, COL (R) Robert L. Manning. His visit provided a valuable opportunity for chapter members to connect with national leadership, reinforcing the strong sense of community that defines AGCRA.
During the event, Adam Adkison, the VP of Memberships, was awarded the prestigious COL Robert L. Manning Achievement Medal. This honor serves as a testament to the dedication and hard work of AGCRA members who play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission.
The evening culminated with a special dinner hosted by Thunder Mountain Chapter Active Member COL (R) Robert Murphy and his wife, Gayl Murphy, for the chapter officers in honor of COL Manning. Those who participated in the dinner included Patricia Trickett, Thunder Mountain Chapter President, and her husband; CW3 Karina Navarro, Thunder Mountain Chapter Vice President; CW3 (R) Rachael Butler, Thunder Mountain Chapter Secretary, and her husband; CSM Darnell Rambert, Thunder Mountain Chapter Treasurer; and Adam Adkison, Thunder Mountain Chapter VP of Memberships, and his husband.
This intimate gathering allowed members to engage with national leadership, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the bonds that unite the AGCRA community. COL Manning’s leadership and commitment to the association continue to inspire, and the Thunder Mountain Chapter is eager to continue working alongside him and the national leadership to uphold AGCRA’s mission and values.
