On May 3, 2025, members of the Thunder Mountain Chapter gathered for a scenic and enriching chapter hike at Carr Canyon, located in the beautiful Huachuca Mountains of southeastern Arizona. The hike provided not only an opportunity for camaraderie and physical activity, but also a chance to explore local history. Participants enjoyed a memorable visit to the historic Carr Ruins, where they took in breathtaking views and reflected on the area’s unique past. On 12 March 2025, the AGCRA Fort Huachuca Thunder Mountain Chapter had the privilege of hosting AGCRA National President, COL (R) Robert L. Manning. His visit provided a valuable opportunity for chapter members to connect with national leadership, reinforcing the strong sense of community that defines AGCRA.

During the event, Adam Adkison, the VP of Memberships, was awarded the prestigious COL Robert L. Manning Achievement Medal. This honor serves as a testament to the dedication and hard work of AGCRA members who play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission.

The evening culminated with a special dinner hosted by Thunder Mountain Chapter Active Member COL (R) Robert Murphy and his wife, Gayl Murphy, for the chapter officers in honor of COL Manning. Those who participated in the dinner included Patricia Trickett, Thunder Mountain Chapter President, and her husband; CW3 Karina Navarro, Thunder Mountain Chapter Vice President; CW3 (R) Rachael Butler, Thunder Mountain Chapter Secretary, and her husband; CSM Darnell Rambert, Thunder Mountain Chapter Treasurer; and Adam Adkison, Thunder Mountain Chapter VP of Memberships, and his husband.

This intimate gathering allowed members to engage with national leadership, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the bonds that unite the AGCRA community. COL Manning’s leadership and commitment to the association continue to inspire, and the Thunder Mountain Chapter is eager to continue working alongside him and the national leadership to uphold AGCRA’s mission and values.

Celebrating Excellence in the AG Corps: SGT Michael R. Robison's Reenlistment.

On 25 February 2025, we had the privilege of witnessing a remarkable moment in the AG Corps here at Fort Huachuca. Sergeant (SGT) Michael R. Robison reaffirmed his dedication to service by reenlisting in a ceremony held at Alvarado Hall.

The ceremony was a proud moment, with Colonel Brendon K. Dever administering the reenlistment oath, solidifying SGT Robison's continued commitment to the Army and the AG Corps. It was an honor to have SGT Robison's family by his side for this special occasion, including his wife Skye, daughter Saoirse, and cousin, who shared in the excitement of this milestone.

What an outstanding day for the AG Corps, as we continue to celebrate the exceptional individuals who make our community stronger every day. Congratulations, SGT Robison, and thank you for your unwavering dedication! AG All the Way!

Fort Huachuca’s Thunder Mountain AGCRA chapter honored two exceptional members today - Chapter President Patricia (Patty) Trickett with the Civilian Award for Excellence, and Programs and Social Events officer Heather Marshall with the COL Robert L. Manning Achievement Medal - for their outstanding contributions as AG professionals. We are fortunate and thankful for all their hard work, mentorship, and continual involvement in the Fort Huachuca HR community and in the AGCRA! Well done!!!
