Short answer: **A LOT of awesome things.**

Our Local Coordinators are the magic-makers behind Deployed Love at each installation. They help bring events to life, welcome military families, connect volunteers, and create spaces where people feel supported and less alone.

From hosting coffee socials and holiday events, to sharing resources, cheering on families during deployment, and building real community — Local Coordinators help turn “we should hang out sometime” into meaningful connection. ☕🎄✨

If you love people, enjoy organizing fun moments, and want to make a difference right where you live, this role might be for you. Because community doesn’t build itself… it builds when someone says *“I’ve got this.”* 💙

Community is so important!! We want to make sure that everyone has the ability to feel supported and surrounded by people who are there for them!!

That's why we can't wait to bring Deployed Love back to the area!!

As military spouses we tend to find ourselves floating after each move, struggling to find traction in yet another new place. But starting out with building your community will make each move feel that much easier!
