This morning, members and candidates of the Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club came together to clean up the TJ Mills Gate area, demonstrating our continued commitment to selfless service and pride in our installation.

As leaders, it's our responsibility to set the example, not only by leading Soldiers, but by taking care of the place where we live, work, and serve. Keeping The Great Place great, welcoming, and beautiful is a reflection of the pride we have in Fort Hood and the Army profession.

This morning, members and candidates came together for our monthly H2F session as we took on the Impossible Mile, a workout that truly lived up to its name. It pushed everyone both physically and mentally, reminding us that growth happens when we embrace challenges and refuse to quit. Every participant demonstrated resilience, determination, and the warrior spirit that defines our profession.

Following the workout, we held our monthly SAMC meeting, where members discussed upcoming events, community outreach opportunities, candidate development, and ways to continue strengthening our chapter and our impact across the Fort Hood community.

A sincere thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and continues to invest in making our chapter stronger. Whether you're a longtime member, a candidate, or someone interested in joining, we encourage you to come out and be part of what we're building.

This past Thursday marked a bittersweet moment for the Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club as we said farewell to one of our longtime members, SFC Joshua Travis. Throughout his time with our chapter, SFC Travis exemplified the values of leadership, selfless service, and professionalism. As a former Chapter President, he played an instrumental role in strengthening our organization, mentoring countless NCOs, and leaving a lasting impact on both our members and the community we serve. While we are saddened to see him leave the chapter, we are excited to watch him begin this next chapter of his Army career as a Drill Sergeant. There is no doubt that future generations of Soldiers will benefit from his experience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. From all of us at the Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, thank you for your service, your leadership, and your friendship. We wish you and your family nothing but success in this new assignment.

Last weekend, members of the Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club were honored to participate in Audie Murphy Day in Farmersville, Texas, celebrating the life, legacy, and birthday of Sergeant Audie Murphy.

This special event brought together community members, veterans, and military leaders to honor one of America's greatest heroes. As members of a club founded on the values Sergeant Audie Murphy embodied integrity, professionalism, and selfless service, we are proud to carry on his legacy through service to our Soldiers and communities.

Thank you to everyone who made this celebration possible. We remain committed to upholding the standards and example set by Sergeant Audie Murphy for generations to come.

Yesterday, members and candidates of the Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club proudly supported the Killeen Juneteenth Festival, joining community members in celebrating unity, freedom, and inclusion. The event brought together families from across the Killeen area and featured activities designed for individuals of all abilities, reinforcing the importance of service beyond the uniform.
Through volunteerism and community engagement, our members demonstrated the values of leadership, selfless service, and commitment to strengthening the communities we call home. We are honored to support events that foster connection, celebrate diversity, and create opportunities for everyone to thrive.

These NCOs demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, military knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to serving Soldiers and their communities. Earning membership into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club is a significant achievement that reflects the highest standards of the NCO Corps and the legacy of Sergeant Audie Murphy.

Today, members of the Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club participated in our monthly Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) session, hosted by Command Sergeant Major Jackson.

This session was especially meaningful as it marked CSM Jackson's final H2F event following more than 30 years of dedicated service to our Army and Nation. Throughout his career, he has exemplified leadership, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to developing Soldiers and NCOs.

The Fort Hood Sergeant Audie Murphy Club extends its sincere gratitude for his mentorship, influence, and lasting impact on countless leaders across the force. Thank you, CSM Jackson, for your service, sacrifice, and steadfast dedication. We wish you and your family nothing but success in your next chapter.
