Celebrate good times, c’mon! You’ve asked for it, we have given it back to you. The Comanche Pool (Tank Destroyer Boulevard, Bldg. 52932) opens August 31 and will remain open for the remainder of the pool season. The FREE outdoor pool will remain open from noon – 8 pm, until October 14. For more information, call 254-287-7544.

Hello fellow Residents... Are you ready for Part 2 of the National Night Out? Sept 29 2012 @ Smith Middle School (5-8 pm)Commanche 1, 2, 3, Montague and Kouma Villages will host National Night Out Safety Day. What does that mean you wonder? Well it'll be a night of ways to make your family and neighborhood safe. There will be games, safety demonstration, entertainment, giveaways and food for all. So come on out and enjoy the night and get to know your neighbors. If you have any question or would like to help put this event together please message your mayors. Hello Comanche II Residents

Here are a few key events happening this month in the community.

Town Hall meeting – Aug 15 @ 1830 Smith Middle School (Comanche I / II).

Come on out and hear what’s new in the community and voice your opinions about things that are wrong or things that you’d like to see or happen in the community.

National Night Out is happening this year in 3 phases. Yes that’s right 3 phase.

1st Phase- Aug 17 from 5-7 @ Smith Middle School
We will be hosting a Bike Rodeo with Comanche I and Comanche III and with the Ft Hood DES (Police). The purpose of the bike rodeo is to inform youth and adults the safety requirements on Ft Hood. There will also be an obstacle course, registration table, and helmet / bike inspection. Comanche I, II, III housing Staff along with the community mayors will be serving food and refreshments. The Ft Hood Des will be raffling off 2 bikes per community along with that there will be plenty other giveaways. So come on out and enjoy at night out with the family and the community.

Phase 2 and 3 will be posted later when details are released.

Remember to mark your calendars and don’t miss out on the fun.
