It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our dear AGCRA Lone Star Chapter members, CW2 Akeycia Arellano.

CW2 Arellano was a dedicated Army professional, respected leader, mentor, and valued member of our AG Corps family. Her unwavering commitment to Soldiers, her profession, and those she served alongside left a lasting impact on countless lives. She will be remembered for her service, leadership, and the positive influence she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Please keep her family, friends, loved ones, and fellow teammates in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Additional details regarding her memorial service will be shared as they become available.

On 8 May 2026, the Adjutant General (AG) Color Guard Team proudly presented the colors in support of the 797th EOD Battalion at the Mayborn Center in Temple, Texas. Their professionalism, precision, and dedication helped make the ceremony a memorable and dignified event.

The Color Guard Team consisted of:

CPL Erica Anguiano – Left Rifle
CPL Nicholas Teeter – Unit Colors
SPC Tamia Ward-Goethe – Right Rifle
