🩹 First Aid with the Scouts! 🩹

Our Scouts had a wonderful visit from Dillan, a U.S. Coast Guard Health Services Technician (HS), who came out to teach them all about first aid and how to respond to common injuries and emergencies.

The Scouts learned what to do for bee stings, cuts and scrapes, burns, splinters, and other common injuries, how to properly clean and bandage a wound, and the importance of staying calm, assessing the situation, and knowing when to get help.

Dillan also brought his daughter along, who was an amazing helper throughout the lesson! We really appreciate her helping make the lesson so fun.

A huge THANK YOU to Dillan for taking the time to share his knowledge and experience with our Scouts! The kids learned so much and had a great time while building important skills that could one day make a real difference.

Pack 45 Gives Back!

Tonight, our scouts rolled up their sleeves and spent their evening giving back to our community through a cemetery cleanup service project.

The scouts worked hard raking leaves, cleaning headstones, clearing pathways, and removing sticks and debris to help keep the cemetery clean and well cared for.

Rain Gutter Regetta Fun ⛵

Our Cub Scouts worked hard getting their rain gutter boats ready for race day! From putting them together and painting their boats to finally seeing all their hard work in action as they raced, it was so much fun to watch!

Another night celebrating all the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our Cub Scouts! We are so proud of each one and every one of them and all they've achieved.

Of course, no awards night is complete without good food, great friends, and lots of fun!

🦖 Dinosaur Day Camp has come to an end! 🦕

The scouts had an amazing final day! They spent the day fishing, performing a fun play skit, and making amber slime. But the absolute highlight of the day was when the firetruck arrived and sprayed the scouts with water to cool off! 🚒💦

A huge thank you to every parent and volunteer who helped make this camp possible. This camp was such a success because of all of you and your willingness to take time off work and out of your busy schedules to make this week so special for our scouts.

Thank you to: Jessica, Eric Wise, Jo, Beu, Marissa, Alyssa, Thomas, Katy, Chris, Jessie, Max, Krista, Eric Gonzales, and Jon for all of your hard work and dedication throughout the week.

And an extra thank you to Jessica and Eric for providing pizza for the scouts on our last day! 🍕

🦖🌋 Day 4 of Dinosaur Day Camp Complete! 🌋🦖

The Scouts had another roaring good time today with slingshots, a volcano eruption experiment, and lots more dinosaur-themed fun!

We can't believe tomorrow is already our last day of camp. The kids are excited to finish out the week with more adventures and make a few more memories before camp comes to an end.

Day 3 of Dinosaur Day Camp: complete! 🦖

The scouts had a great time creating their dinosaur habitats, building tents (and discovering that taking them back down is way harder than putting them up 😅), practicing BB guns and archery, and working on fishing skills in preparation for Friday’s big fishing adventure.

Big thanks to Jon for running the official “sandwich station” and keeping all the hungry campers fueled up 🥪

🦖 Day 2 of Dinosaur Day Camp: Complete! ✅

Another fun-filled day for our scouts! Today they went on a hike, learned knife safety and skills, practiced at the archery and BB gun ranges, and dug for fossils. There were lots of smiles, adventures, and hands-on learning throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Jessica, Jo, Beu, Alyssa, Thomas, Jessi, Katy, Krista, Jon, and Marissa for all of your help today! ❤️

And an extra shoutout to Alyssa and Thomas for providing hot dogs for lunch. It was a perfect midday tailgate break for our hungry scouts and volunteers! 🌭😊

Looking forward to seeing what adventures tomorrow brings! 🦕

🦖 Day 1 of Dinosaur Day Camp: Complete! ✅

The Scouts had an awesome day filled with learning, exploring, and plenty of fun. They learned hiking essentials like first aid and the importance of water, played games, practiced fishing techniques, tried their skills at the BB gun and archery ranges, made their own fossils, and even created their Den flags.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the parents and volunteers who helped make today such a success!

Special thanks to Jessica for coordinating camp, Beu and Jo for running stations and encouraging the Scouts, and Alyssa and Thomas for serving as walkers, assisting at archery, and providing an amazing tailgate lunch in the parking lot. They made sure our scouts weren't running on dinosaur-sized hunger and kept everyone well-fed with a delicious meal. We truly appreciate it!

Thank you also to Katy for volunteering as a walker and bringing chips, and to Marissa, Chris, Jon, and Jessie for helping guide the dens throughout the day.

These Scouts had so much fun, and days like this simply wouldn't be possible without all of our amazing volunteers and families. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

It was a fantastic day, and while some of us may be moving a little slower than the dinosaurs by now, we're ready for Day 2! 🦕💚
