REMINDER THAT THE GRANT SUBMISSION DEADLINE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 IS FAST APPROACHING. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we have funded numerous projects in the past. To be considered, you must meet the deadline.
Go to our website and under About Us Drop Down/Club Information/Financial and scroll toward the bottom you will find Grant Submission Information, Guidelines, and the application. Link is in the comments. All funding proposals must be submitted by September 1st.
Non-profit tax exempt 501(c)(3) organizations, and local, state, or federal agencies or educational institutions are eligible to apply for funding.
Projects selected for a grant must address one or more of the following Adirondack Forty-Sixers, Inc. priorities:
Protecting and preserving the natural resources within the Adirondack Park, with a primary focus on the High Peaks Region, and secondarily, other areas of the Forest Preserve; Promoting the responsible usage of the wilderness areas within the Adirondack Park by the general public; Educating the public on the environmental, geological, and human history of the Adirondack Park environs and its residents, including social history, folklore, and arts and humanities.
