Daybreak Rotary has volunteered to check in Veterans of the Brushy Creek Honor Flight for many years. It is our favorite volunteer event that was originally started by Fort Dodge Daybreak Rotary member Ron Newsum. Ron is greatly missed today, and every day. Good Morning! Today, Daybreak Rotary had a great tour of the Iowa Central Fuel Testing Laboratory. Carter Smith, Mahleeyah Bandoo and Josh Hayes gave us a great tour and answered many questions of the testing processes and the many types of testing they do. The Fuel Testing Laboratory of Iowa Central is a great asset to Fort Dodge and the State of Iowa. Thank you again to Carter, Mahleeyah, Josh and the rest of the testing lab staff for the enlightening experience of their facility. Have a Great Day! 😃

Good Morning! Today we had Corrections Treatment Director Murphy Washington, speak to us today about the Fort Dodge Residential Facility. Murphy gave us a great presentation on how this facility impacts the lives of their residents and benefits our community. This can be the difference of those leading a productive life and those going back to prison. Thank you Murphy for the great program!
