There are two general outlines for scopes program: Mental Wealth and Social Network.
Mental Wealth
Educational training:
Life coach (a Life coaches can help you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then produce strategies for overcoming each obstacle; by creating strategies, life coaches target your unique skills and gifts. By helping you to make the most of your strengths, life coaches provide the support you need to achieve long-lasting change, empowering individuals to reach their own understanding).
Parenting (Raising children is the hardest job there is, and often parents need support and guidance along the way to empower them and provide them with a skill set for success. Parents who are experiencing parenting difficulties facing custodial challenges or just want to feel more confident in their parenting abilities! This class is for you).
Financial awareness (Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. When you are financially literate, you have the essential foundation of an intelligent relationship with money, and it will serve you as a starting point to a lifelong journey of learning about financial matters that are more advanced. The earlier you start, the better off you will be financially, because education is the key to success when it comes to money).
College degree/GED (Education is the great enabler and equalizer, the force that allows individuals to reach their potential, to dream bigger dreams and to be more fully engaged with a much bigger world. It is also the engine of social mobility, the avenue to better and more meaningful work and thus opportunity for one's family and community).
Job placement/apprenticeships (It often combines practical, firsthand training with paid work, meaning you can receive a wage while working in the program).
Mental awareness (Your mental health is an important part of your well-being. This aspect of your welfare determines how you can operate psychologically, emotionally, and socially among others.
Considering how much of a role your mental health play in each aspect of your life, it is important to guard and improve psychological wellness using appropriate measures.
Because different circumstances can affect your mental health, we will be highlighting risk factors and signs that may indicate mental distress. But most importantly, we will dive into all the benefits of having your mental health in its best shape).
Social networking
Community support:
Partnership with non/organizations (SCOPE partners with other nonprofits and organizations to share resources to better support its participants).
Local businesses/County and City (when it comes to the county and the city, we will be partnering with them to both for employment as well as buying the dilapidated homes and giving them to the single parent, taking the vacant lots the county or city owns and turning them into garden plots until someone pays for them. Local businesses we will try to partner with them too for employment for participants as well as try to buy all our equipment and goods locally).
Volunteer/ Mentors (mentoring is one of the most important parts of a strong community. Scopes mentoring program have multi-level: professional woman, professional man, from calf to buck, and from cub to lioness).
(Our volunteer program covers different facets for example the community uncle and auntie program are where two female, and two male adults take 2 or 3 younger male/females out to distress be going to a game or go to hair done or something to get them involved in the community. Our community grandma and grandpa not only do they watch the kids in the neighborhood that are out play, but they also help put on community or block parties where neighbors get to know neighbors.
Single parent families (this program provides single parents with support resources and knowledge they need to provide the best lives for their children and themselves which also includes a home of their own).
