Fighting Angels Abreast Dragon Boat Team The Fighting Angels Abreast is Fort Dodge Iowa’s first dragon boat team made up of Breast Cancer survivors and their supporters.

The team is now in its 9th season. The mission of our team is to raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection of breast cancer. We encourage healthy lifestyles through physical activity and are positive role models in the community demonstrating courage, determination and teamwork. We encourage survivors and supporters of all walks of life, regardless of age or athletic a

bility, to join us in the boat. Each of us demonstrates that it is indeed possible to have a full and active life after treatment for breast cancer. Our goal is to provide hope, support, camaraderie, and encouragement to team members. We strive to serve as role models to support those newly diagnosed with breast cancer; and to promote a healthy, active lifestyle and empowerment among Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters.
