Hi all!!

Hi friends!! I need your help!!

As you can see, our kiddos at the Youth Shelter are getting a much needed kitchen remodel. But their bellies need filled in the meantime.

If anyone can donate dinners, please sign up below. If you would like to help out financially to cover meals, please contact me directly and I will ensure the kids get what they need.

A big shoutout and thank you to Mineral City, Teriyaki Madness, and Domino’s for donating dinners this week. Fort Dodge always amazes me with how we care for our people!!

Hi, founder of Santa’s Helpers here. I need opinions from you all. I have something in the works to bring new activities to the Fort Dodge area, that will benefit us and surrounding communities. But I want to make sure we’re looking at this from the perspective of what people would really want as an offering.

So, please, let me know what kind of activity offerings you would like to see here. For kids, families, friend groups, and couples. It could be an idea of your own, something you’ve seen in other communities that looked cool, or something you’ve done and really enjoyed.

Think… kid shared activities, learning or activity camps in the summer for kids, date nights for couples, something fun to take the entire family to do, themed events for friends/couples/families/kids, etc.

Also, please share the post so we can get a variety of thoughts!!

This Christmas season, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. ❤️

Through Santa’s Helpers, we have the privilege of showing up for kids who might otherwise wake up on Christmas morning without a gift, and for youth who deserve to feel seen, valued, and cared for during the holidays. What we do isn’t just about Christmas—it’s about reminding kids that their lives matter and that their community hasn’t forgotten them.

None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity and support of others. I want to give a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Nestlé Purina Fort Dodge for stepping up in a big way and helping us make this season brighter. Your kindness has had a real impact, and because of you, more kids will experience warmth, dignity, and a little extra hope this Christmas.
