O.U.R. Tse Ho Tso Organizing, Uplifting & Restoring Tse Ho Tso OUR Tse Ho Tso is a group dedicated to Organizing, Uplifting, and Restoring the community. Defiance to pursue.

The group took shape from a planning effort initiated by Building Communities, Inc. and Economic Development for Apache County, which are jointly funded by a HUD grant to assist in community development in the Navajo Nation. Through an in-depth survey and discussion process, the planning committee determined seven development strategies that would be most feasible and appropriate for Ft. Foremost

among these are cultural tourism, education, health, and environmental restoration. OUR Tse Ho Tso sees the historic hospital as a tremendous asset in terms of economic and social development, a place that would bring all these strategies together. We envision it as a hub for cultural enrichment, entertainment, hospitality, art, vocational activities, outdoor recreation, etc. – a thriving multi-use district that would serve the local population on many levels while being a major attraction to visitors. The potential is to create a uniquely immersion-based model of cultural tourism that would bolster the local economy while empowering its people.
