🌟 The Power of a NightLight 🌟

“I know what it feels like to be alone, scared and feel that nobody loved me or cared about me. And I know there are so many kids that Realities For Children provides care for, that are going through what I went through. In my home drugs, neglect, physical and sexual abuse at the hands of family members was a part of my daily life. I felt lost and unseen in this darkness. I was a young girl that had never known a home with kindness and care. I felt invisible in this darkness and the smallest nightlight of hope truly made all the difference. Those acts of kindness allowed me to become more than a victim of my trauma, but able to thrive. Realities For Children not only meets the emergency needs of children recovering from abuse but they are also dedicated to breaking this cycle for the next generation. Because of people who brought light into my life – my son will never know the horrors of child abuse the way I did.
