Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, the Music District is a dynamic gathering hub, workspace, and creative playground for contemporary musicians and members of the Northern Colorado music industry to create, connect, and level up. Opened in 2016, our campus was specifically designed with the Northern Colorado music community in mind. The Music District features backlined rehearsal rooms, pro gear, production rooms, drop-in workspaces, access to the latest music-making software, and much more. We help Northern Colorado musicians and music businesses grow and develop through artist development programming, resource and opportunity sharing, community building haps, and bridging connections to collaborators and mentors locally (and beyond). We need YOU.

Peter Lalish – longtime lead guitarist for Lucius, the Grammy-nominated indie pop band – is coming to the Music District for a two-day camp. He’s looking for Colorado guitar-driven bands to join him.

⚡️For The Sake of the Song: Guitar & Live Sound Lab w/ Peter Lalish of Lucius

Peter has spent more than a decade touring internationally, playing stages from Carnegie Hall to the O2 Arena and performing alongside artists including The War on Drugs and Brandi Carlile.

Here’s what to expect over the weekend working directly with Peter:

🎸 Bring three original songs
🎸 Dig into guitar parts, tone + instrumentation
🎸 Experiment with different arrangements: full band, acoustic, duo, no drums + more
🎸 Build a live show that can flex across different rooms and opportunities
🎸 Wrap it all up with a small showcase

Applications are open for a two-day intensive with Peter Lalish, longtime lead guitarist for Lucius, focused on transforming your songs from the record to the stage 🪄

Over Nov 14 + 15 at the Music District, you’ll:

🎸 Bring three original songs
🎸 Dig into guitar parts, tone + instrumentation
🎸 Try radically different arrangements: full band, acoustic, duo, no drums + more
🎸 Build a live show that can flex for different rooms and opportunities
🎸 Wrap it all up with a small showcase

Guitar-driven bands will be prioritized, but any band with arrangement questions is encouraged to apply. Spots are limited.
