🎓✨ Celebrating the Somos FAVAS Graduation! ✨🎓

We are thrilled to celebrate the graduation of five phenomenal Spanish-speaking home-based childcare providers—the 5 FAVAS—who have completed La Cocina’s 110-hour ¡Somos FAVAS! professional course of study.

This was not just a training—it was a transformational journey. These FAVAS are more than childcare providers. They are educators. They are early childhood specialists, trusted community leaders, and culture keepers who nurture the minds and hearts of our youngest children with intention, care, and love.

Through intensive instruction in child development, health and safety, and culturally grounded approaches, our graduates are now even more equipped to support the growth and well-being of children and families in Northern Colorado.

Con enorme orgullo celebramos la graduación de cinco increíbles proveedoras de cuidado infantil en el hogar de habla hispana—nuestras 5 FAVAS—quienes completaron el curso profesional ¡Somos FAVAS! de 110 horas ofrecido por La Cocina.

Este no fue solo un programa de capacitación. Fue un camino de transformación. Estas FAVAS no son solamente proveedoras de cuidado infantil. Son educadoras. Son especialistas en la primera infancia, líderes comunitarias de confianza y guardianas del conocimiento cultural que cuidan las mentes y corazones de nuestres niñes con intención, cariño y sabiduría.

A través de formación intensiva en desarrollo infantil, salud y seguridad, y prácticas culturalmente arraigadas, nuestras graduadas están aún más preparadas para fortalecer el crecimiento y bienestar de las familias en el norte de Colorado.

La Cocina is dedicated to elevating conocimiento Latine (Latine knowledge) that heals and transforms the lives and communities most impacted by systemic inequality and trauma.
