PROGRAMS:

FORT COLLINS CENTER:

Inchworms - 6 weeks to 12 months
The infant program at the Fort Collins center strives to develop a sense of trust and well-being in your baby. Our staff promotes attachment with tenderness and self-awareness for positive social interactions. We offer a safe, healthy and enriched hands on environment in which infants can explore and engage in creative play for eac

h stage of development. We provide loving care, responsive interaction and individual respect for each baby. We offer a 1:4 and 1:5 ratio with a maximum group size of seven infants. Parents are welcome to visit or nurse at anytime throughout the day. Ten Little Monkeys
This is our toddler one room for children 12 months and walking to two years old. These children are developing their gross motor skills by discovering the thrill of walking, developing their fine motor skills, by pointing, manipulating, grabbing and learning language and social skills. Our teachers use basic sign and consistent repetition to help children start developing their language skills. We introduce the Pyramid Module that teaches children about caring, cooperation, safe environments, assertiveness, relationship skills, emotional regulation and self-control. This philosophy is introduced early and integrated into all of our classrooms big and small. Our ratios are 1:5 with a maximum group size of ten children. Super Stars - 2 year olds
Super Stars is for children 2-3 years old. Our two year old room focuses on preparing the children for preschool. Gross motor skills are being developed through everyday play such as jumping, tip toeing, throwing, going fast or slow and pedaling a tricycle. Fine motor skills such as drawing, painting and manipulating toys are being developed daily. The Pyramid Module is followed in the development of social and emotional skills such as caring and sharing, showing empathy to friends and family and helping others. We offer a 1:6 or 1:7 ratio with a maximum group size of 12. In all of our classrooms we encourage learning through play. Play helps toddlers master movements, stimulates language use, builds self confidence, boosts friend making skills and thrills the senses. Busy Bees - 3 year olds
Busy Bees is our three year old classroom. We focus on assisting children at their individual level. In this room we continue the Pyramid Module teaching every child cooperation, assertiveness, relationship skills, emotional regulation and self control. This classroom focuses on social and emotional development, gross motor, fine motor, sensory integration, language and literacy, music and movement and imaginative exploration. Our low ratio in this class gives teachers an opportunity for more one on one interaction. Our ratio is 1:9 and 1:10 with a maximum group size of 18. Frogs - 4 year olds
Frogs is our four year old classroom. We offer many exciting opportunities for children from all backgrounds. In this room we continue the Pyramid Module and encourage children to model empathy, self control and emotional regulation. Our ratio is 1:10 and 1:12 with a maximum group size of 20. Bears - 3 to 5 years
This classroom has a mix of Colorado Preschool Program children and community children. We offer Kindergarten readiness activities in every developmental aspect of the classroom. Theme based activities are planned each week with hands on and teacher directed activities. This classroom focuses on encouraging children to become independent and make choices on their own. Our ratio is 1:8 and 1:10 with a maximum group size of 16. All preschool classroom centers include art, math, science/sensory, dramatic play, language and literacy, computer, music and movement, blocks, fine motor, writing, cozy corner and outdoor play. Enrichment programs such as Reading Wagon are offered at no additional cost. LOVELAND CENTER:

Our ratios are 1:5 with a maximum group size of 10 children. Acorns - 21/2 - 31/2 year olds
The Acorns room is for children ages 21/2-3 years old and focuses on preparing the children for preschool. Building Language for Literacy is a theme based curriculum used for planning daily activities that incorporate small and large motor skills, art, science, math and language, library, and housekeeping based on the child's developmental skills. The Pyramid model is followed in the development of social and emotional skills such as caring and sharing, showing empathy to friends and family, and helping others.
