🌟 Join the Fight to STOP the Aragon Concrete Batch Plant🌟

We are local residents, neighbors, environmentalists, and concerned community members uniting to STOP the proposed concrete batch plant at 516 US-287 next to Terry Lake.

03/24/2026

Last night, the Larimer County Commissioners voted 3-0 to DENY the Septic appeal for the proposed batch plant at 516 N Hwy 287.

We are thrilled — and so grateful. Every person who showed up, spoke out, and stood with us made this happen. This win belongs to this community.

That said, we want to be honest: this was one step, not the finish line. Aragon is a sophisticated company and we fully expect them to consider their options. The Special review hearing process is still a real possibility depending on where they take this.

Last night proved we’re ready for whatever comes next. Stay connected — we’ll keep you posted as things develop.

Thank you for showing up. đź’Ş

Quick reminder that tonight at 6:30 PM the Larimer County Commissioners will hold an important public hearing regarding an industrial project that affects our community.
A full room sends a message. Whether you plan to speak or simply attend, we would greatly appreciate your presence. Together, we can communicate to County Commissioners that approving permits that would enable a future concrete batch plant in this location is not aligned with our community’s values.
We support economic growth in our county, but not at the expense of our community’s health and environment.

On March 23, the County Commissioners will decide whether to allow the company at 516 N US Hwy 287 (between Jax Farm & Ranch and Terry Lake) to continue and expand use of a private septic system instead of connecting to public sewer — as required in the Growth Management Area.
This request is tied not only to the current fleet operations, but also to the proposed concrete batch plant. The decision on March 23 will help determine whether the proposed concrete batch plant continues moving forward in the permitting process.
A full room sends a message. Join us at the upcoming public hearing.
