Just a reminder that Tom will be doing the Saturday Welcome to Tango night at the Empire Grange this evening from 7:15 - 9:15.

Analii and I are committed to helping build back up the Fort Collins tango scene. While tonight's class will be oriented to newcomers, I expect people of all levels. As a result I’ll be teaching a bunch of technique and musicality that everyone can benefit from.

****UPDATE: 8/28/17 - No one has stepped forward to manage student activities via CSU affiliation for 3 years. Currently, if you are a student you can join the tango community by attending classes, practicas and milongas hosted by Amy Beaudet at EarthBeatDance.com. (Everything is 1/2 off for students) We have a great group of students from CSU and FRCC in our classes and we hugely enjoy their energy and participation in the community!

3.6.14 - The few remaining members of CSU Tango have decided to allow it's official registration to lapse as no students are able at this time to step into admin roles.

However - if you are a student and want to revive the club, there are a group of FoCo Tango Community Members who are more than happy to help you out:
Amy Beaudet, Robert Remsik, Kyle Strand, and Varvara Volckening, among others.

It's come to my attention that many people are not seeing our posts. Amy says that this is due to a change in Facebook's algorithm for displaying posts from pages. To ensure that you personally see our posts, remember to check the page itself fairly regularly. Also, "liking" our posts will help widen viewership, so please remember to do that. Finally, don't forget that if you'd like text reminders about weekly lessons and other events, just ask Kyle.

Kyle here. I'm trying to organize a carpool to Tom & Amy's workshop this Saturday. Who wants to drive down together? I also need someone who's willing to get me to DIA afterward (which may require leaving the workshop slightly early).

I don't know if Thursday nights are actually the best fit for everyone's schedule, so here's a poll. Please mark all the nights you think you'll be able to regularly participate. Wednesdays are excluded since Tom and Amy teach at OTY on Wednesdays.
