Poudre Golden K - Kiwanis Club

Poudre Golden K - Kiwanis Club The Kiwanis PGK Club has the goal of serving local disadvantaged children's needs. We are a service club of over sixty men and women.

Our one hour long weekly meetings begin at 9:00 am on Tuesday at the Fort Collins Senior Center - 1200 Raintree Drive - 80525. Come early for coffee and conversation. We have a program every week. Check out the many volunteer activities we are involved in.

Our pocket project, to collect dollars for 40 pickleball paddles for Putnam students, was an overwhelming success! A big thanks to our members for emptying out their pockets to support this request. ML also donated two brand new nets for the cause. In addition, he has offered to teach a pickleball clinic to Putnam students in the fall.

Today’s guest speaker was Kathleen Baumgardner and her topic was Child Safe, unfortunately, a much needed nonprofit in Larimer County. Their mission is to “break the cycle and heal the trauma resulting from childhood abuse and neglect with specialized treatment, education, and community outreach.”
