Foothills Gateway For over 50 years, we advocate for & empower individuals to live life by their choice. Our story: Supporting Individuals with Disabilities since 1972.

Foothills Gateway, Inc. is one of 20 Community Centered Boards serving people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in Colorado. We got our start in 1972 through a merger of the Foothills Activity Center in Loveland, CO, and the Easter Seals Gateway Center in Fort Collins, CO, becoming the Foothills Gateway Rehabilitation Center. Initially, services were provided in the areas of education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services, and sheltered workshop; these services were set up to be an alternative to institutionalization at the time. Today, Foothills Gateway, Inc. (renamed) continues to coordinate and provide services to over 2,600 individuals and families through a variety of programs geared toward addressing employment, housing, and social needs of those we serve.

Big news! 🎉 The Johnstown Scheels Giving Campaign is officially live, and Foothills Gateway needs your support! This year, they are giving away $100,000 in donations - awarding $5,000 to 20 different non-profit organizations.
