About the Colorado State Forest Service Nursery
The Colorado State Forest Service Nursery produces high quality, low cost seedling trees and shrubs for various conservation and restoration applications. We are situated on roughly 130 acres dedicated to our bare root production; we have 18,000 square feet of greenhouse space for containerized production and multiple shade-houses for continued seedling growth. We are currently producing over 40 different species, selected for their heartiness and ability to survive in even the harshest regional conditions. These are offered in a variety of sizes to suite any budget, and other planting needs. We strive to provide our customers with the optimal customer service and superior seedlings for all of your conservation and restoration needs!
