Music has the power to reshape and strengthen communities!

When young people have access to music and the arts, they can gain so much more than creative skills: they are able to find connection, confidence, belonging, and a place to grow.

Arts programs help form stronger, safer, and more connected communities by allowing young people the opportunities to build relationships and feel invested in the places they live.

Little Larks: Music for Little Ones (Ages 0–5)

From birth to age 5, children are natural sponges soaking up information, pattern recognition, and social development. That's why starting September 15, 10 – 10:50am, at Plymouth Congregational Church, Off the Hook Arts (www.offthehookarts.org) is excited to introduce its newest program: Little Larks. This bilingual class is taught by Colombia native, Cathy Correa, and welcomes young children with their caregivers.

Grounded in the renowned Orff-Schulwerk approach, this weekly Tuesday morning class invites children and their grown-ups to explore music together through singing, movement, storytelling, imaginative play, and creative exploration. Families discover the joy of learning side by side through curiosity, play, and connection.

Registration and full class details can be found here: offthehookarts.org/littlelarks.

Life gets busy, but the arts have always had a way of helping us pause, reflect, and feel inspired. 🎶

Nearly 70% of Americans say the arts lift them beyond the routines and stresses of everyday life. Whether it's a live concert, a painting, or a music lesson, the arts create moments of connection, joy, and hope that stay with us long after the experience is over.

That's the power of the arts, and that's why everyone deserves access to them!
