We are a family oriented club, organized in 1965, to promote and enjoy the recreation of four wheeling. Four wheeling involves driving a four wheel drive vehicle on roads and trails which are impassable to normal street vehicles. It's often referred to as "off-roading," but in most cases we use marked "roads" in order to protect the areas through which we travel. occasionally we play "off-road"

on designated sand dunes or ice where it is a bit tough to "stay on the trail" since there is none. Unlike the images portrayed by mass media and environmental groups, we are concerned with conserving the natural beauty of the State of Colorado and anywhere we four wheel. We also participate in both the Adopt-a-Trail and the Adopt-A-Highway programs. We work closely with the US Forest Service in maintaining local 4x4 roads. We assist our community, Fort Collins, Colorado, by providing transportation during severe winter weather for employees and some patients of "critical need" groups like Poudre Valley Hospital, Good Samaritan Retirement Village and Meals-On-Wheels and by assisting groups like the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army in transporting supplies and the like to and from remote areas during crises.

Some of our members opened the gates on Moody Hill, Old Flowers, Sevenmile Creek, and Bald Mountain on Saturday. They are all open for the season!

It’s recommended you have a saw with you on all these roads. We removed over 200 trees on these this spring.

BREAKING: One Step Closer to Permanently Repealing the Roadless Rule— the rule that locked up 58.5 million acres of National Forest land, blocking road maintenance, wildfire mitigation, and reasonable access for 25 years! S. 140, the Wildfire Reduction Act, just passed committee! H.R. 7695, its companion in the House, is up for a vote now.

If you've followed our 24-year fight against the Roadless Rule, you know why this matters. Last June, the USDA proposed to rescind the Rule and reopen nearly 59 million acres of National Forest. That was a big win in the right direction. It was also an administrative action, and administrative actions can be reversed by the next administration with the stroke of a pen.

We've lived that whiplash before. The only way to end the cycle is for Congress to repeal the rule by law and block any lookalike rule in the future. That's exactly what S. 140 and H.R. 7695 do.

Committee passage is real momentum. It is not the finish line. Both bills still need votes, and members of Congress review every constituent message when deciding where to stand. Anti-access groups are already pressuring them to kill these bills. Your representatives need to hear from the people who actually use these forests.

It takes two minutes. Fill out the form, and your message goes straight to your representatives asking them to support both bills and kill the Roadless Rule once and for all. Link below!

Over three days during the past two weekends, we cleared Bald Mountain, Sevenmile Creek, and Moody Hill.

Bald Mountain and Sevenmile Creek only had a handful of trees to clear on each.

Mood Hill on the other hand.........we cut and removed around 100 trees and moved (no cutting needed) at least 100 more over two days!

Huge thanks to all our club members who volunteered to get this done!

We will be opening gates on all of these roads next weekend, starting on Saturday.

Club members cleared Old Flowers and a portion of Moody Hill this past Sunday. Old Flowers didn't need much work, there were a lot of downed trees on Moody Hill, we will finish clearing Moody Hill next weekend. Old Flowers should open as scheduled on the 15th. We will continue to work on other roads in the area so they can open on schedule as well.
