CROP WALK!!
The annual crop walk on October 4th was a great success.
A large group of walkers turned out to raise money for Church World Service's hunger programs , and for the Larimer County Food bank. Food itself was gathered for the CSU food pantry. We had walkers from multiple faith communities, and logistical support from Scout troop 97. A great day to help end hunger!

On Oct. 3rd a group of 7 people from Westminster joined others to work on Habitat houses in the Bloom subdivision. Good progress was made doing various kinds of carpentry & painting. Nice work builders!

More Produce from our EarthCare Garden!

Here's some produce that went over to
the CSU Food Pantry today.

Good Work EarthCare Team!

PS> We also have a little free food pantry box in front of the church with shelf-stable food items, for those who happen to be in our area (West Elizabeth street in Fort Collins)

Feeding the Hungry
(in two ways!)
Our teams have been busy.
The Earthcare team garden is now producing greens that
are sent to the CSU food pantry, with lots of other veggies to come soon. And, our outreach team put up a new little free food pantry & library next to our parking lot. Not as impressive as Jesus feeding the five thousand, but we're following His lead!

Raise the Roof!
Last weekend 7 of our members joined a Habitat crew building a house at the new Bloom subdivision in Fort Collins. With expert supervision from Habitat builders, we passed roof trusses up from the ground to the 2nd story roof without the aid of machines. It was amazing to see how quickly all the roof trusses were placed - that part was done in about an hour. It was quite a day!

Mission Trip!!
Last Sunday three of our members reported on a mission trip they took in May. Twelve people from our Presbytery (a group of churches in our region) went to the YPM Institute, a new and growing university on the Yucatan Peninsula. They built walls in a new building, conducted sewing classes, and shared fellowship with locals. Yucatan Peninsula Mission (YPM) runs a high school and university, and provides outreach to people in the area, including clean water. You can learn more about YPM here:

This has become an annual event at Westminster, and some of our people are getting very good at concrete block construction!

Confirmation Sunday!
Next Sunday, May 10th at 10AM at First Presbyterian Church
We will celebrate the confirmation of an outstanding
group of youth from our combined youth group. We will worship over at First Presbyterian (531 S. College Ave.), where our pastor
Eric Sunderland will be preaching. We will NOT have worship at Westminster on May 10th, so join us over at First Presbyterian.
See you there!
