🌿 We love seeing what our alumni build.

In March, Aseel and Darwish, graduates of Arboretum Coffee’s apprenticeship program, opened Sahtein, a Jordanian restaurant serving fresh Mediterranean food in FoCo Cafe’s space.

Starting a business takes courage, persistence, and countless hours of hard work, and it’s been exciting to watch their vision come to life.

If you’re looking for a delicious local dinner option, stop by and support their new venture!

We’re proud to cheer them on as they continue building opportunity, stability, and community through entrepreneurship. 💛

For June and July, we’re featuring Tore Chai, a black tea latte with cardamom created by Maeengul from Afghanistan!

This drink is inspired by flavors Maeengul loves and wanted to share with our community; a simple way to celebrate culture, connection, and the stories that make Arboretum Coffee what it is.

Available weekdays from 2–5pm for a limited time!

We’re excited to be part of FoCo Juneteenth 2026! ✨

Join us on June 20 at Foothills Mall as we celebrate Black freedom, culture, creativity, and community alongside so many incredible local organizations, artists, performers, and vendors.

We’ll be selling coffee from 12-4, so stop by our booth, say hello, and enjoy all that this year’s celebration has to offer—from live music and art to dancing, workshops, and community connection.

We’re honored to participate in an event that celebrates resilience, history, and the ongoing work of building a more just and vibrant community for all.

🎓 What a beautiful day.

This weekend, we celebrated the graduation of 9 apprentices who have spent the past year growing in workplace skills, confidence, leadership, and community connection.

Graduation is always one of our favorite days of the year, not only because of what our graduates have accomplished, but because it brings together the community that has walked alongside them: families, volunteers, mentors, donors, customers, partners, and friends.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate! Your encouragement, friendship, and support help make this work possible.

And to our graduates: we are so proud of you! Thank you for sharing your gifts, cultures, resilience, and joy with our community. We can’t wait to see what comes next. 💛

Don’t miss the last video! A spontaneous Senegalese dance party broke out at the end of graduation, and honestly, it was the perfect way to celebrate. Joy-filled work, joy-filled community, joy-filled graduation.

Today we’re celebrating , the incredible bakery behind the buttery croissants you enjoy at Arboretum Coffee.

For the past two years, La Creperie has generously donated butter croissants to support our mission! Their kindness saves us more than $1,000 each year, resources that can instead go toward creating opportunities for immigrants through paid apprenticeships, mentorship, and holistic support.

We’re so grateful for their partnership, craftsmanship, and commitment to making Northern Colorado stronger for everyone!
