As many local students head back to school today, we wanted to shout out the incredible Geometry in Construction classes at Poudre High! This is one of two homes that they built last year, nearing completion at Heartside Hill. With the new school year will come two additional Habitat homes built by students on-site as part of a specially designed curriculum that combines math and hands-on construction. We wish all of the students and teachers a safe, fun, and impactful school year!

Here's some Habi-Happiness for your Tuesday: Crystal and her son, Neal, are Habitat homeowners who built their house in partnership with the Geometry in Construction program at Poudre High School a few years ago. Neal, who is a baking whiz, made his delicious cookies-and-cream cupcakes for the students that year.

Recently, Neal decided to host a neighborhood bake sale to raise funds for two of his favorite nonprofits. Today he brought in a $200 donation in support of Habitat's work.

We love young philanthropists (almost as much as we love Neal's baked goods.) Thank you, Neal, for your generous gift.
